ShockLine

The Basics

ShockLine is the romantic ship between Shockwave and Flatline. They are both Transformers, alien robots from the planet Cybertron that can transform into vehicles. Shockwave is a scientist and Flatline is a medic.Details of their story can change depending on the specific continuity, but usually it unfolds as follows:
Shockwave and Flatline initially met by working together in the same Decepticon laboratory. Flatline was immediately infatuated with Shockwave and would spend much of his free time attempting to woo him, much to Shockwave's annoyance. In secret, the Decepticons' manipulative leader Megatron instructed Shockwave to entertain Flatline's attraction, in order to keep him loyal to the Decepticons. In the process, Shockwave ended up developing feelings for Flatline in return.Flatline did eventually discover the ruse, and he and Shockwave had an extremely messy fight about it. But ultimately, it meant the relationship was able to move forward honestly and openly, and now the two of them are almost inseparable.
